International Conference THE FUTURE OF HOCHIMINH CITY METROPOLITAN AREA (HCMCFuture 2015)

Thanks to the support of German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Vietnamese-German University (VGU), University of Transport and Communications (UTC), and the project team of Real Time Monitoring of Urban Transport - Solutions for Traffic Management and Urban Development in Hanoi (REMON) are delighted to announce the 2nd International Conference on Integrated Modelling of Urban Dynamics and Traffic with a theme on “The Future of Hochiminh City Metropolitan Area” on 24-25 September 2015 at the Vietnamese-German University in Binh Duong New City, Binh Duong Province.

Remarkable Interest in REMON at National Committee for Traffic Safety event in Hanoi

Project REMON Unites International Experts to Discuss About Hanoi’s Future

The project REMON and its project partners University of Transport and Communications (UTC) and Free University Berlin (FUB) co-organized the international workshop “Integrated Modeling of Urban Dynamics and Transport for Hanoi (HNFUTURE 2014)" on the 3rd and 4th of September, 2014 in Hanoi. Experts from different disciplines discussed about the possibilities of modeling realistic scenarios for the future urban and transport development of Hanoi.

AS&P and HUPI schedule area for joint energy-efficient city and transport planning

For a workshop of several days’ duration in March 2014, the REMON project partners AS&P and INA met  the Hanoi Urban Planning Institute HUPI  to work out the details of a joint energy-efficient city and transport planning showcase for Hanoi. Together with HUPI, AS&P chose an area for a Transit Oriented Development (TOD) best practice showcase.
